G.R. Lefter

I am an external PhD candidate and teacher at Maastricht University, affiliated with the School of Business and Economics' Finance and MILE departments. Bridging academia and industry, I have more than two decades of senior-level experience in the financial sector. My research agenda applies this professional background to investigate how behavioral factors shape macroeconomic outcomes, such as recession probabilities, post-recession recovery dynamics, and risk premia. In addition to my research, I teach economics, finance, and statistics. My current work at Maastricht University is a continuation of my academic roots, building on the educational foundation I laid here during my Master's degree in Economics.
