The Senses-Based Learning Symposium is coming your way! After a successful first edition, the second edition of this exciting symposium will take place on 4 April 2024, and will feature presentations from the Senses-based Learning core team and its ambassadors, as well as presentations from students and colleagues involved in research on senses and practitioners.

10.30 - 12.00 Keynote speech: “The effects of senses on learning and the moderating impact of technology” by Wim Gijselaers and Therese Grohnert
12.00 - 12.15 Student presentation, including exhibition of artworks made for tropical biology class
12.15 - 13.15 Recharging your senses – Lunch
13.15 - 14.15 Workshop on knowing our own sensory health and the effects of sensory learning by Andrea Smitten
14.15 - 14.30 Think tank students’ presentation
14.30 - 15.00 "Wine Tasting with VR - a new type of sensory experience!?" by Tim Hilken
