More information
Academic careers are evolving—impact factors and citation counts are no longer the sole measures of success. Instead, universities and funders are recognizing broader contributions, including open science, leadership, and societal impact. What does this mean for your career? How will hiring, promotion, and funding decisions change? And what role will the newly forming Dutch CoARA Chapter play?
The Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) is a global network driving reform in how researchers are evaluated. With the Netherlands at the forefront, efforts are underway to establish a national chapter to shape these changes locally and internationally.
Join Professor Rianne Letschert for a critical reflection on these developments, followed by a panel discussion on initiatives in place to increase diversity and inclusion in researchers' assessment reforms. The panel will also discuss implementation challenges and reflect on future directions.”
