FSE Student vacancies

Responsibilities

As a member of the FSE student ambassadors’ team, you will present your study programme (and faculty) to prospective students. You are highly motivated about your study programme and able to express this enthusiastically with knowledge of all the admissions and programme details. You will get intensive training, after which you will represent your study programme at information events such as: 

• Open Days
• Experience Days
• (Online) Q&A sessions
• Information fairs and school or university visits
• You will give presentations about studying at FSE and UM, talk with prospective students and their parents
• Help with the logistics of information events for prospective students
  
  

 Profile

• An enthusiastic and outgoing FSE student
• Excellent presentation skills and English language skills; Speaking Dutch is an advantage
• A high customer service level
• Affinity with social media
   

Working conditions

You will receive a 0-hour paid contract via InterUM (UM employment agency). The hours are flexible and depend on your availability. We expect you to be available for biannual Open Days (they take place on Saturdays). You have to take care of arranging Dutch health insurance. This position starts in August 2025 during the Introduction Days.

Responsibilities

• Answer emails from prospective students
• Help organise Open Days and events
• Join video calls and give personal tours
• Support creative promo projects
   

Working conditions

• Start: 1 September (or July/August) 2025
• 8 - 10 hrs/week
• Location: on campus

Requirements

• Strong affinity with social media platforms (Instagram and LinkedIn)
• Experience in creating content (photos, videos, captions/text)
• Creative mindset and ability to propose original ideas
• Good command of English (both written and spoken)
• Basic knowledge of design tools (such as Canva or Adobe Express) is a plus
• Reliable and well-organized; able to work with deadlines
• Available for approximately 4–8 hours per week
• Familiar with student life and education at UM/FSE

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated student to provide content for FSE's social media accounts. You will be sharing your perspective on student life in Maastricht. That includes sharing insights in your study, but also life outside of university. Aside from creating content, you will be answering DM's from interested students.
