PhD Workshop in Corporate Law
On 18 June 2026, the ICGI hosted a PhD Workshop in Corporate Law, bringing together researchers from Maastricht University, Tilburg University, and University of Amsterdam.
The workshop featured presentations from members of the ICGI. Damla Bos presented research on parent company duties under the CSDDD and its governance implications, Tom Vos delivered a keynote on translating academic research into policy action, and Wessel Spaninks presented his work on the economic reality of corporate groups.
In addition, the programme covered a wide range of topics, including corporate sustainability due diligence, financial distress, stablecoins, and shareholder voting. The workshop provided a platform for researchers to present their ongoing work, exchange ideas, and receive constructive feedback.
