The Medicine programme is centred around authentic professional tasks and focuses on collaborative and self-regulation of learning. Knowledge, skills and attitude are taught using real world tasks from physicians. You practice on each other and simulated patients.

Good to know

It is no longer possible to apply for the English track of the Bachelor of Medicine at Maastricht University, as it will be discontinued from 2026-2027. International students may still enter the Dutch-language programme if they pass the selection process
This is a three-year, full-time programme. You'll obtain a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree.
To start in September, apply before 15 January (non-EU/EEA and EU/EEA).
