University College Venlo
As the University College Venlo (UCV) is already a selective bachelor’s programme for highly motivated bachelor’s students, it does not have a separate honours programme component. The entire bachelor's programme is essentially an honours programme.
At University College Venlo, you deal with one of the world’s major challenges: bringing safe and healthy foods to the human population. With the help of your academic advisor, you design your own curriculum and select different courses from the main themes: Food, Nutrition & Health and Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
The central part of your study programme is composed of courses within the concentration of your choice: Social Sciences or Life Sciences. In the Social Sciences concentration, you can choose courses in fields such as Psychology of Eating, Economics and Behavioural Change. The Life Sciences concentration offers courses like Biology, Epidemiology of Food, Biochemistry and Datamining. Combining courses from different disciplines will help you develop a distinct academic profile, perfecty adapted to the Master’s programme or professional position you aim for.
University College Venlo, the youngest UM study programme received the highest score in the National Student Survey, yielding a shared first place as most highly appreciated bachelor's programme in the Netherlands.
