M.T.G. Klemm

Mathijs Klemm is Assistent Professor of VAT at Maastricht University and a VAT lawyer at the Dutch Tax Autorities, Foreign Office. 

Mathijs holds a degree in tax law (LL.M, Maastricht University). In 2025 he obtained a PhD in tax law from Maastricht University. His dissertation is titled 'We Can Work It Out - A study into an improved interpretation of current EU law to address VAT double (non-)taxation caused by divergent national decisions".
