ing Kamil Szostak, LLM (K.K.)
Kamil Szostak is a PhD candidate at Maastricht Law and Tech Lab, where he researches the extraterritorial scope of EU digital legislation. His interests include the legal regulation of information technology, particularly artificial intelligence. His work combines a normative perspective with an empirical approach to legal studies.
Kamil holds degrees in Law (a five-year integrated Master’s program) and Computer Science (a three-and-a-half-year Engineering program), both awarded by Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. He has also studied at Poznan University of Technology, the University of Malta, the Warsaw School of Economics, and the Universidade Portucalense. Prior to starting his PhD in October 2024, he gained experience during internships at several international law firms in Warsaw, working on technology and regulatory matters.
