Recap: Weekend of Science 2025 (Weekend van de Wetenschap)
During the Weekend of Science 2025 (Weekend van de Wetenschap) on Saturday 4 October, the faculties of Maastricht University (UM) and partners in Maastricht and Venlo opened their doors to everyone curious about what science really is. Visitors could visit the Einstein Telescope Pathfinder (ET Pathfinder), experiment with liquid nitrogen, watch candy grow in a vacuum, join workshops on virtual reality and artificial intelligence, attend mini-lectures on the human body, get a glimpse of the moot court, and much more!
Thanks to all visitors, scientists and staff who made this possible.
The next Weekend of Science will take place on Saturday 3 October and Sunday 4 October 2026.
