Historian and cultural philosopher Guido Goossens teaches for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. He is also a regular guest lecturer at the Department of Autonomous Fine Arts of the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts and Design, and chairman of Hedah, Centre for Contemporary Art Maastricht. The Foundation Praemium Erasmianum awarded a price to Goossens' doctoral thesis on the filmmaker Syberberg.
