Central PhD Candidates Platform (CPCP)

At UM, there is the CPCP. This is a centrally organised platform that discusses interfaculty and (inter)national issues that concern PhD candidates with the Rector of UM. The platform serves as an advisory board for the Executive Board by providing both solicited and unsolicited advice about such issues.
More information on the CPCP can be found here.

Questions or input related to topics such as social safety, PhD regulations/procedures or general input regarding PhD policy can be sent to the CPCP via email

PhD Academy

PhD Academy is an association founded by international and interdisciplinary PhD candidates at Maastricht University. Its goal is to build a vibrant community by organising a variety of activities; from art, sports and cooking workshops to larger events of our annual boat party and winter ball. In this way, it aims to provide opportunities for PhD candidates not only to unwind and take a break from research but also to mingle and connect with peers across different departments.
