Education
At the Maastricht Centre for Human Rights, we see education as a key way to share and expand our research. We actively connect teaching and research, engaging students with the questions and findings that shape our work in international and human rights law.
Centre fellows teach across the Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes offered to students at the Faculty of Law, University College Maastricht, and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASoS). These include Public International Law, International Human Rights Law, Human Rights: Principles and Polemics; Human Rights and Human Development, International Humanitarian Lawn The Aftermath of Atrocity, and Rights of the Child.
Through our teaching, we aim to educate and inspire the next generation of human rights scholars and practitioners. By integrating research and teaching, the Centre seeks not only to transmit knowledge but also to cultivate intellectual curiosity, professional responsibility, and a lifelong commitment to human rights.
