MHeNs Annual Research Day

-

We’ll begin with a lecture on scientific data management by Ron Mengelers, Dominiek Smit and Hellen Steinbusch. In today’s research landscape, data is almost entirely digital. Therefore, it’s important to learn how to collect, store and share data efficiently and securely, to make things easier for you and your colleagues, and to protect the privacy of your research participants.

Next, our guest speaker Renée Boesten from TU Eindhoven will talk about work-life balance, a vital topic for researchers and any staff member at every stage of their career.

Participants also hear moving testimonials from two patients involved in ongoing studies at MUMC+ and Zuyderland, offering valuable insights into research from the patient’s perspective.

The day conclude with PhD candidates presenting their projects through pitches and posters, fostering lively discussions and networking over drinks.
