Op maandag 18 januari ondertekende RWTH Aken en de Universiteit Maastricht een contract waarmee de structurele samenwerking in het instituut AMIBM (Aachen Maastricht Institute for Biobased Materials) op de Brightlands Chemelot Campus wordt geformaliseerd.

Na twee jaar hard werken, kreeg de eerste groep studenten van de master Biobased Materials hun welverdiende diploma uitgereikt.

Het Aachen-Maastricht Institute for Biobased Materials (AMIBM) opent op 9 december 1500 m² nieuwe laboratoria op de Brightlands Chemelot Campus.

On the 20th of April Aachen-Maastricht Institute for Biobased Materials (AMIBM) hosted its third international conference on Applied Biobased Materials (ABC). This year's theme was: Biobased Materials for Innovations in Fibre Applications. It was an inspiring day for all 130 visitors.

This event offers a unique opportunity to learn more about the latest developments in circular cultivation and chemistry, and how bio-raw materials are becoming increasingly important within the various value chains.

After two years of hard work, the first graduates received their well-deserved diplomas for the master’s programme Biobased Materials.
