On the 20th of April Aachen-Maastricht Institute for Biobased Materials (AMIBM) hosted its third international conference on Applied Biobased Materials (ABC). This year's theme was: Biobased Materials for Innovations in Fibre Applications. It was an inspiring day for all 130 visitors.

The Aachen-Maastricht Institute for Biobased Materials (AMIBM) in the Netherlands is a cross-border research institute focused on developing advanced biobased materials. AMIBM is located on the Brightlands Chemelot Campus.

After two years of hard work, the first graduates received their well-deserved diplomas for the master’s programme Biobased Materials.

This event offers a unique opportunity to learn more about the latest developments in circular cultivation and chemistry, and how bio-raw materials are becoming increasingly important within the various value chains.
