Paula Roldán Barraza will join METRO as a PhD researcher. She will be based both at SBE and at LAW and will be supervised by Iwan Bos (SBE), Niels Philipsen (METRO) and Kalpana Tyagi (IGIR).

After more than 30 years of successfully promoting European, comparative, and international research at the Faculty of Law, the Maastricht European Institute for Transnational Legal Research (METRO) will formally end its activities on 1 May 2025.

While teaching EU Competition Law at the China-EU School of Law (CESL) in Beijing, METRO/MEPLI fellows Niels Philipsen and Caroline Cauffman were invited to attend the 10th anniversary celebration of CESL.
