Team Maastricht University door naar de internationale ronde van de Philip C. Jessup pleitwedstrijd
Op 23 en 24 februari, nam het team van Maastricht University deel aan de Dutch Qualifying Rounds van de 2017 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Amsterdam. Het UM-team, bestaande uit Céline Fäh, Caitlin MacMillan, Hanna Moller en Diya Dilan behaalde de internationale qualificatieronde die zal plaatsvinden van 9-16 april in Washinton D.C. Het team wordt gecoached door Laura Visser, Jure Vidmar en Jennifer Sellin.

With great performances from the students and excellent teamwork, the team reached the finals after four rounds against Leiden University, the University of Amsterdam and Utrecht University. In a very tight final round the UM team beat Leiden University qualifying for the international rounds of the competition. Diya Dilan, in an outstanding performance representing the applicant, was awarded best oralist.
