Mingya Jiang (M.)

Mingya Jiang is a Ph.D. candidate of Metro at the Faculty of Law, Maastricht University. She is a member of M-EPLI, Law and Tech Lab and Ius Commune Research School.

Mingya obtained her Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics in July 2018. In 2022, she graduated from the East China University of Political Science and Law with a Master of Law Degree.

Her recent research interest lies broadly in the area of ​​Law and Economics, European Competition Law and Data Protection Law. Her research project focuses on using a law and economic perspective to analyze the relationship between digital advertising and abuse of dominance in the data economy.
