DIGITAL SOCIETY How does Increasing Digitisation Change our Lives?

Our society is digitising. But does digitisation control society? Digital systems, designs and structures have the power to literally take lives and change our material, cultural, mental and emotional environment. But at the same time, humans have agency. They can steer the development of a digital society, on both a personal and a universal level, in their own direction.

In this series, we get in tune with the digitisation wave, leading us to a wide range of themes and research areas that affect all of us. Join us on this journey through different aspects of our digital lives, and discover how topics that appear diverse are actually tightly interwoven through digitisation.

It is now possible to register for individual lectures. Use the links behind the lectures below. Costs per lecture: €2,50 (UM and Highschool students) / €6,25 (UM employees and students of other schools) / €12,50 (others). Payment (cash only) just before the start of the lecture at the desk.
