The goal of my research is to apply insights about the nature of social motivation in order to design organizations and markets in an efficient way. For example, several of my studies demonstrate the vital importance of social preferences for labor relationships.
At the moment, one focus of my research is on transparency as an element for the design of payment schemes in firms. I work on a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship with the title “Wage transparency in companies”. Please find more information about the project on my private website.
In addition to my applied work, I conduct fundamental research on the nature of social motivation.
