Peter Werner (P.)
My main interests lie in behavioral and experimental economics. The goal of my research is to apply insights about behavioral regularities to the design of organizations, markets and public policy. In addition to my applied work, I conduct fundamental research on the nature of social preferences.
Together with Peiran Jiao, I coordinate the UM Behavioral Insights Center, one of the research spearhead initiatives at our School of Business and Economics.
Together with colleagues, I currently work on a Netspar Theme Project in which we try to understand and improve decisions related to pension savings. Please find the project website here.
Together with Thomas Meissner, I organize the yearly M-BEES and M-BEPS symposia.
From October 2017 to September 2019, I worked on a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship with the title “Wage transparency in companies”. Please find more information about the project on my private website.
