Voorbeelden hiervan zijn Richtlijn 2014/95/EU, Verordening (EU) 2019/2088 en Verordening (EU) 2020/852. De literatuur en ook de praktijk plaatsen niettemin vraagtekens bij het succes van transparantieregels. Ondernemingen lijken te worstelen om tegen redelijke kosten compliant te zijn.
