What’s up, European University Association?

The European University Association (EUA) speaks on behalf of all universities in Europe. It is a major stakeholder when it comes to influencing EU policy in the field of education, research, and innovation. In this edition of ‘What’s up, EU?’ we will find out about the EU policy developments affecting universities that the EUA is closely monitoring, and how universities can use EUA as a vehicle to have their voice heard.

The talk will cover topics such as the upcoming European Strategy for Universities, the latest developments to renew the European Research Area (ERA) and the European Education Area (EEA), proposed EU policy reforms to research assessment systems, the rollout of microcredentials at European level, etc.

After Anna-Lena's presentation, which will last around 20-30 minutes, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss for another 30 minutes. We encourage everyone's active engagement.

This is a virtual event open to members of the Maastricht University community and to UM partners.
