Everyone is expected to adhere to the general principles of professional academic practice at all times. The Netherlands Code of Conduct for Scientific Practice (Association of Universities in the Netherlands, VSNU 2005, as amended 2012) specifies these principles which are also endorsed by Maastricht University.
