Drupal can accommodate various image file formats: PNG, GIF and JPG. Placing an image Create a paragraph in which to place your image. Choose image > Browse. In the next window you can upload an image or search the Image Library. Choose an image on your … from the Library, it should already contain metadata, such as the alt texts and title, photographer and organisational unit. In this case, you will not need to add this information yourself. Never re-crop an image you have chosen from the Library with the cropping tool. If you do, this will change the image wherever it appears on the website. This means the image will be displayed incorrectly on other pages, which we cannot feasibly check in all cases. - CGD 25 Anniversary Invitation (1).pdf (2.66 MB, PDF)… kind of feminist praxis is able to challenge how successive generations are often pitted against each other as developmentally inferior? Or as competitors over a scarce array of resources, whether these be political, economic, or symbolic ones? How can we practice intergenerational feminism in and outside of university settings? What is the effect of today’s “each one, teach one” (Black) feminist pedagogy occurring mainly outside of the classroom, by those engaging in online and campus activism? What conceptualizations of intimacy, of space and time connectivity, flow from intergenerational thinking and doing? How might patriarchal and colonial notions of inheritance be refuted through an intergenerational feminist … scholars, a field explicitly supported by UM since 1987. Our jubilee symposium on Intergenerational Feminisms therefore also is a celebration of these many years of intersectional and interdisciplinary scholarship at the UM, conducted in concert with many collaborators in and outside of the university. It offers us an opportunity to assess the issues that have fallen off the broader feminist agenda and which need our urgent attention. Our symposium will take place over 21-22 September, and we …
- biobased_materials_-_light_weight_recyclable_sustainable_composites_for_automotive_applications.pdf (276.74 kB, PDF)… tensile modulus exceeding 4,5GPa and 200 GPa, respectively. Contrary to the presently used solution spinning route adopted for the production of UHMWPE fibers that require more than 90 wt.% of toxic solvent, the tapes will be processed in solid-state without using any solvent below the equilibrium melting point of linear polyethylene. The tape having 12% lesser surface to volume ratio, than the normally used fibers, will require only 4 wt.% of the adhesive compared to the normally used 16 wt.% of the adhesive in the composites having fibers. The low amount of adhesive in combination with unprecedented mechanical properties of tapes processed via solid state will provide new opportunities in the development of recyclable composites that can replace the normally used glass fiber filled composites that cannot be recycled. Setting and Methods: The work will be performed at the Aachen-Maastricht Institute for Biobased Materials and Maastricht University. Both institutes are located at the … performed under controlled condition, using single-site catalyst(s) supported on substrate(s). The synthesized polymer will be converted into tapes, where the structure evolution during processing will be followed by spectroscopy techniques employed online. The variations in non-crystalline region, as a function of draw ratio, will be followed by FTIR and solid state NMR. Mechanical properties of the drawn tapes will be determined using a tensile machine equipped with hydraulic clamps. Time …
