YUFE Student Forum: driving change and innovation in European higher education

The Young Universities for the Future of Europe (YUFE) alliance is proud to spotlight the crucial role of the YUFE Student Forum in shaping the future of inclusive, accessible, and high-quality European education.

The Student Forum, comprised of diverse and dedicated students from ten partner universities, serves as the voice of the student body within YUFE. This year’s team for the YUFE Student Forum at UM consists of Mauro Bai, Elena Pierpaoli, and Drishti Gogia. Representing perspectives from across Europe, the Forum actively contributes to decision-making processes, ensuring that students remain at the heart of this transformative alliance.

This academic year, the YUFE Student Forum has set ambitious goals to enhance student mobility, inclusivity, and interdisciplinary learning opportunities across partner universities. Among our key priorities is co-developing the highly anticipated YUFE Bachelor's degree, a groundbreaking initiative that combines academic excellence with practical skills to prepare students for global challenges.

As a member of this vibrant community, Drishti Gogia from Maastricht University shares her aspirations:

"The Student Forum is a unique platform to bridge the gap between students and policymakers. This year, we aim to create a more inclusive education model that reflects the diversity and ambitions of our peers. I'm particularly excited about developing innovative, student-centered solutions to enhance the quality and accessibility of higher education across Europe."

Through collaborations with university leaders and policymakers, the YUFE Student Forum champions sustainability, equity, and innovation in education.

Stay tuned for updates as we continue to shape the future of learning and research in Europe!
