Loopbaan
Johannes Keiler is assistant professor at the department of criminal law. He holds a master’s degree in law from the University Innsbruck, Austria and a master’s degree in European Union Law from the Universiteit van Amsterdam.
In 2013 he defended his dissertation on "Actus reus and participation in European criminal law" for which he received the Moddermanprice 2014 for the best criminal law dissertation in the Netherlands. His research focuses on European and comparative (substantive) criminal law. He currently lectures in subjects including comparative criminal law and Dutch substantive criminal law.
