Prof Dr H.J.M. Peters
My main areas of research are game theory and social choice theory.
I studied mathematics at the Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands, where I graduated in 1982. Since 1984 I have been working at the University of Maastricht, at the Departments of Quantitative Economics and of Mathematics. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Nijmegen in 1986. My main research interests are game theory and social choice theory, and I am currently an editor of Social Choice and Welfare, Games and Economic Behavior, and Mathematical Social Sciences, and main editor of the Theory and Decision Library Series C: Game Theory, Social Choice, Decision Theory and Optimization, published by Springer.
