Is Open Science the Solution for the Replicability Crisis and Problems of Research Integrity?

In recent years, alarming messages about the poor reproducibility of research findings and breaches of research integrity have appeared in the media. What exactly is the problem, what can we say about its causes, and are effective solutions at hand? Bouter will argue that the recent awareness of some problematic aspects of the academic enterprise is a good thing, which should not lead to pessimism. Organised in cooperation with the Platform of Research Ethics and Integrity (REI) at Maastricht University.
