The refugee Sam Ali flees Syria and on his journey is taken in by Monica Bellucci, who portrays the treacherous PA of artist Godefroi (Koen De Bouw). The famous and provocative Jeffrey Godefroi makes valuable art from unusual objects. He offers Ali the chance of getting to Europe by making his back available as a canvas. Ali becomes a living artwork that is worth millions on the art market. The freedom he expected to find turns out to be an illusion. Is your skin too high a price to pay for freedom?
