How Deep is Your Love
How can we protect a world we barely know? How Deep Is Your Love transports the viewer to the very depths of the ocean, where a team of marine biologists is searching for unknown life forms in the Clarion-Clipperton Zone, a vast untapped region in the Pacific Ocean that is under threat from deep-sea mining.
During their expedition, they discover some amazingly colourful and bizarre organisms, ranging from the Barbie Pig to the Psychedelic Elvis Worm. But behind all this wonder lies an urgent question: what happens when economic interests clash with vulnerable ecosystems? The documentary explores the paradox of scientific discovery at a time when the pressure on natural resources is steadily increasing. A visually astounding and topical film about biodiversity, climate, technology and the responsibility that comes with exploring the unknown. (Source: InScience Film Festival)
