Onderzoeksprofiel
Ik heb een achtergrond in de cognitieve psychologie. Mijn eerdere onderzoek richtte zich op instructieontwikkeling (instructional design, gebaseerd op Cognitive Load Theory) en cognitieve controlefuncties (selectieve aandacht, inhibitie, motorische functies), met name in relatie tot leeftijd. Sinds 2017 verken ik het brede vakgebied health professions education. Daarbij richt ik me op een eveneens breed scala aan onderwerpen, waaronder instructional design, mentoring/coaching, fysieke (in)activiteit in het onderwijs, docentprofessionalisering, en toetsing.
