Maastricht University (UM) wants all its employees to be – and stay – fit and healthy. That is why UM aims to create a stimulating work environment and a healthy workplace. We want employees to enjoy working and to be able to perform optimally.
What are effective and appealing strategies to stimulate employees to move more and sit less? This is an important question that UM wants to explore and evaluate among her employees.
Therefore, Vitality Works (VW) offers employees the opportunity to become involved in promoting their own vitality. This means that employees, together with colleagues, can submit proposals for promoting their vitality at work. All submitted proposals are assessed by UM experts. The selected proposals are then translated in collaboration between the applicants and researchers from VW into an implementation plan.
