Giuseppe Gigliotti Giuseppe was born in Tropea, Italy, and  is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Globalisation and Law at the Maastricht University. In the past he has worked, among others, as legal analyst for the FIELD Foundation in Italy, and has written as a free-lance journalist for different Italian magazines. His interests lie in Law and Economics, International Trade and Investment Law, as well International Commercial Law and the Law of Economic and Monetary Union. He will be assisting Prof. Faure, Prof. Philipsen and Dr. De Smedt. E-mail  
Armand Ionescu Armand comes from Romania and is a master student in the Globalization and Law programme from Maastricht University. He holds a Bachelor degree in International and European Law from The Hague University of Applied Sciences and pursued an internship within the ICT financial department of Europol. His interest for law and economics led him to opt for a student fellowship at METRO and thus provide assistance to Prof. Faure and Prof. Philipsen. E-mail  
Nadja Maurer Nadja was born in Zurich, Switzerland and is currently pursuing a master’s in Globalisation and Law at Maastricht University. Her interests lie in European law in general, contract and data protection law as well as law and economics. Mareike Moraal Mareike is a Dutch-American student currently pursuing her bachelor’s double degree in Public Policy at the University College Maastricht/University College Freiburg. Her interests lie in environmental and energy policy, as well as law and economics, on which she published in the Maastricht Journal of Liberal Arts. As a student fellow at the METRO Institute, she will assist Prof. Peeters.

Unterberg

Amadeus grew up in Switzerland and is currently in his master studies (Globalization and Law) at Maastricht University. In the past, he studied law with a focus on financial market law at University of Zurich and University of Berne. Moreover, he has worked as a Compliance Officer at Credit Suisse in Zurich, Switzerland. Amadeus has a keen interest in both law and economics and therefore decided to pursue a student fellowship at METRO.
