The perfect recycling of plastics from household waste is one step closer, thanks to research into quality monitoring at all stages of the recycling process. The University of Maastricht, the National Test Centre Circular Plastics, and their collaborators have received a government subsidy of over EUR 2 million, which will accelerate their research.

"Feature Representation Learning for Human Activity Recognition"
Over the next four years, four young researchers can start research into crop biotechnology and engineering, thanks to the collaboration between Radboud University and Maastricht University. The researchers will start work at the Brightlands Campus Greenport in Venlo, halfway between the two universities and at the heart of an important agricultural and horticultural area in the Netherlands and Germany.
