Prof Dr J. Semeijn
My research is primarily focused on managing relationships in the supply chain. Both sustainability and service – logic are important guiding principles. Topics of investigation include: Green Supply Chain Management; Managing customer relationships for satisfaction and loyalty; managing logistics providers for superior delivery and fulfilment; managing suppliers for greater contribution and sustainability; and managing innovation and learning in the supply chain. Current papers examine the changing relationships in distribution channels, the role of influence strategies, sustainability in logistics and supply chain management, the effects of liberalization on European transportation, and (e-) fulfilment and loyalty.
