After a successful first edition, the second edition of the Senses-Based Learning Symposium will take place on 4 April 2024 from 10:00-16:30 and will be hosted at the School of Business and Economics in Maastricht, the Netherlands.

During the symposium, topics such as the ethical behavior of tax advisers, tax inspectors, but also of judges and of course professors will be discussed. The lecturers were asked to indicate by means of a number of statements what they will be talking about.

This colloquium will analyze the margin of appreciation as the bridge between the universal presence of human rights and their concrete implementation.

On June 27, 2022, the collection Restorative justice through the eyes of… Reflections on restorative justice from 27 different perspectives will be published by BOOM publishers. The publication will be celebrated with a symposium at the law faculty of Maastricht University.

The theme of this year’s NUTRIM symposium is ‘safe today, safer tomorrow’. In this symposium, we will highlight current advances in knowledge that have the potential of making a safer future.
