Invitation to join the opening of the Living Like an Arts exhibition at the Jan van Eyck Academy.

The city of Maastricht has many great things to offer. From the familiar sight of the red Sint Jans church tower looming over the city, to the iconic Sint Servaas bridge over the river Maas, to…mathematics research.

The exhibition which has been travelling the world since 2016, portrays thirteen female mathematicians working at various European research institutions. The project explores their experiences, their drive and their love for mathematics.

The Maastricht University Library in collaboration with the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts and Design (MAFAD) proudly presents the interactive exhibition ‘The New World’.
