The Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery aims at developing a new app-based questionnaire to facilitate vestibular research: the DizzyQuest. This is a strong collaboration within a European network for vestibular experts (Dizzynet), and research groups within Maastricht University (e.g. Prof. Philippe Delespaul, Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience).
Unique contributions and highlights
First trials with the Dizzyquest have been carried out and feasibility of the DizzyQuest was shown. The Dizzyquest is currently being finalised as an evidence-based outcome measure. Multiple centres have already applied for participation in research considering this app.
