Marie-Therese Wilhelm (M.T.I.)

Marie-Therese is a PhD candidate at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in Barcelona, currently joining the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Maastricht University as a visiting PhD fellow. Her research examines the subnational implementation of European environmental policies. She teaches Collective Action Theory and Quantitative Techniques to Undergraduate students at UPF.

 

Marie-Therese has studied in the United States, France, England, Spain and Germany. She holds two Bachelors in Political Theory & Constitutional Democracy and French language, with minor studies in Philosophy from James Madison College at Michigan State University. She obtained her Master’s degree in European and International Relations from the Centre International de Formation Européen.

 

Outside of academia, Marie-Therese has worked with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in the Policies and Standards Branch as an Individual Consultant in the New York office. She also speaks English, German, French, Catalan and Spanish.
