Department of Data Science and Knowledge Engineering - Exchange

If you want to study a semester at the Department of Data Science and Knowledge Engineering (DKE) as an exchange student, you need to contact your own university’s international office to find out whether they have an exchange agreement with the Department of Data Science and Knowledge Engineering of Maastricht University

Students must have obtained at least a pass for the overall assessment of a course

Since the Project-Centred Learning method requires active participation and self-guided initiative from students, course prerequisites are quite important. We therefore do not allow students to enroll in courses for which they are not qualified.

Please note that proficiency in English is indispensable, as all education is in English.

How to apply

After nomination, students can apply by sending the following information to our International Relations Officer: boa[at]maastrichtuniversity[dot]nl:

  • A completed application form (will be sent to you upon request)
  • An official academic transcript
  • A copy of your passport/ID-card
  • A passport-size picture
  • A list of requested courses
