Our valued partners
IDEE is the engineering department of the MUMC+ and facilitates the MUMC+ in its core tasks (research, education and healthcare provision). Its mission is to enable ground-breaking research with unique equipment.
At DataHub, we provide various services related to data management for (non-)clinical studies. We are a cross-organisational initiative within Maastricht UMC+ and can help both researchers from the academic hospital and the university. We provide an institutional repository for research data, that is more than just a data archive. We continuously improve our services in order to provide added value to researchers who want to do more with their data.
Clinical Trial Center Maastricht. The main goal of CTCM is to professionally facilitate research involving human subjects. Being one of the leading Academic Research Organizations (ARO’s) in the Netherlands, CTCM strives to gain valuable results in academic research, together with its partners. The extensive services cover all aspects of supporting this kind of research. They meet all the highest quality standards and guidelines.
The phenomenal size of the datasets produced in translational research programs and their distribution over different research laboratories and clinics require an informatics infrastructure that allows for a seamless integration and exchange of large amounts of data.
The Dutch Translational Research IT (TraIT) project was launched in October 2011 to address these informatics challenges in translational research.
Want to easily and safely collect clinical data for your study? MEMIC collaborates with Castor Electronic Data Capture (EDC), an application through which you can easily and safely collect data online. Castor adheres to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) regulations and has everything you need as a researcher.
You can start right away through castoredc.com or contact MEMIC to allow them to advise you further.
Our valued clients
The Parelsnoer Institute realises a unique cooperation between the eight academic medical centers. The Parelsnoer Institute, founded in 2007 by the Dutch Federation of Academical Medical Centers (NFU), collects clinical data and biomaterials. MEMIC looks after the functional control of ProMISe within MUMC+. ProMISe is the Clinical Trail package that is used within Parelsnoer for the collection of clinical data.
De gezonde basisschool
The goal in this study is to provide elementary school children a daily schedule filled with sufficiënt movement, education, sports and playing. The study focusses on healthy eating habits as well as a better physical, emotional and intellectual growth.
MEMIC takes care of the data collection, cleaning and storage for the researchers.
To prevent complications during pregnancy, all participants are checked regulary: a blood sample and blood pressure will be checked and the growth of the baby during the research is followed. This way the complications such as early birth, pregnancy poisoning, gestational diabetes and growth issues can better be tracked.
De Maastricht studie
The Maastricht Studie is a unique research among the population of Zui-Limburg. It aims to prevent the causes and treatments of diabetes type 2, heart and vascular diseases and other chronic conditions.
The OML aims to gain insight into the educational development of pupils/students in order to foster the further improvement of education and the transition from education to the labour market in the Province of Limburg, and to acquire knowledge about the dynamics of educational processes in general.

Dr. Carla Haelermans, Associate Professor Maastricht University
