This research earned her a place among the ten finalists of the Klokhuis Science Prize: a prize for interesting scientific research aimed at children aged 9 to 12.

Professor Milene Bonte receives NWO Vici grant
23-02-2023Milene Bonte, professor of Cognitive Neuroscience of Language and Literacy Development at UM’s Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience, has received an NWO Vici grant of 1.5 million euros. The amount is earmarked for research into the timely identification of children in need of extra support to prevent reading problems.

Artificial Intelligence programme ROBUST receives additional €25 million in funding from NWO
10-01-2023The programme, which will boost fundamental research in artificial intelligence through public-private collaborations, has a total budget of over 87 million euros. ROBUST will include 17 new labs across the Netherlands and recruit 170 new PhD candidates.
