Walk-in Quick Psychological Referral
Do you have a question related to your wellbeing or mental health? Do you not know where to go for psychological support? Drop by the UM Psychologists for a Quick Psychological Referral (QPR). A QPR is a ten-minute meeting in which you can briefly describe your current situation and ask your most relevant questions. The UM Psychologists will refer you to the right care.
What we offer is a quick look at your current situation, advice on what to do next and/or a specific referral. Walk in as many times as you need. If you are looking for a more in-depth discussion of your personal problems, history and current situation, please use the link 'How to find the right support?'.
The walk-in QPR takes place at two locations:
Every Thursday at the Student Services Centre between 9:30 and 11:00 – room B1.13.
Starting March 16th 2020: every Monday at UB Randwyck between 15:00 and 16:30.
Walk in and pick the card of your desired time slot. The cards are available 15 minutes before the start of the QPR. A UM Psychologist will pick you up at the time you selected.
How to make the most of your ten minutes:
- Be on time. If you are late, the next person will be allowed to take your place.
- Try to verbalise what your biggest concern/issue is.
- Try to verbalise your demand for help.
