Precious plastic
MSP students are very aware of our environment. That’s why some of our students started the Precious Plastic Maastricht group.
To raise awareness, PPM is reaching out to schools and running workshops for children of all ages. Education is a crucial part of shaping the world of tomorrow, and we must act upon it. Workshops include general awareness, arts and crafts, and sustainability oriented talks. Through these, we aim to empower the youth and provide alternatives to the less sustainable everyday options we have at our disposal.
We additionally will be working with local businesses in either promoting already sustainable shops or helping them transition into being more sustainable businesses within the community. Not only will this be beneficial to the business itself but it will also benefit the people by giving them cleaner more sustainable alternatives as well as boosting awareness.
