UM alumni may ‘chainge’ the world of Healthcare
Another hackathon victory of Consense Data Exchange! The startup are the winners of the Health Track of the 2018 Blockchaingers Hackathon held in the northern Dutch city of Groningen from 5 to 8 April 2018.
48 hours, 7 team members and the challenge to "chainge" the world of healthcare by kickstarting scientific research. The seven-strong Consense team was composed of Marta Giralt (Consense CEO), Oskar Person (Consense CTO), Laura Thiel (Consense Business Developer) and Bartosz Czaszyński (TU Delft/ DeLoitte) and Taghi Aliev (CERN), all Maastricht University alumni, supported by Dominic Quentin and Maciej Wróblewski.
The winners said they owed their victory to a great team effort and support from Brightlands in recent months. Additional to the cash award, the Consense team has been invited to participate in an acceleration track offered by UMCG in Groningen and the Netherlands Ministry of Health, to continue building a matchmaking system connecting research participants to researchers and streamlining informed consent.
