Jessica Li is a PhD candidate at the Accounting and Information Management Department (AIM) of Maastricht University, under the supervision of Dr. Annelies Renders and Dr. Patrick Vorst. She obtained her M.Sc. (Research Master) in Business Research with a specialization in Accountancy from Maastricht University. Her broad research interests lie in the area of Financial Accounting research. More specifically, she is interested in peer effects and the prediction of financial misconduct.

She currently teaches graduate level courses at the School of Business and Economics, Maastricht University.
