To study at university, you will naturally be required to pay tuition fees. How much you need to pay at Maastricht University (UM) depends on a number of factors, such as which study programme you choose, whether you start in September or February, whether this is your first or second study programme, and of course your nationality.
On the webpages of Student Services Centre (SSC), you can find information about the different tuition fee rates at UM, the rate that applies to you, the different starting dates for the bachelor's or master's programmes, the payment methods and the possibilities for financial support.
The statutory rates for 2016/17 are:
- Full-time: €1984
- Part-time: €1399
Note: Different fees apply for the Bachelor in Liberal Arts and Sciences of the University College Maastricht and for the MA Forensic Psychology:
- University College Maastricht : €3280
- MA Forensic Psychology: €3495
The fees indicated above apply only to students who meet a couple of requirements. The requirements affect your nationality or the start of a second study programme.
