Professional career history
Dr. V.M. Tünsmeyer wrote her dissertation on the repatriation of indigenous sacred cultural heritage and the law, which she defended in October 2020 at Maastricht University. She graduated cum laude with an LLB (European Law School) and and LLM (Globalization & Law) from Maastricht University and has worked at universities in Germany and the Netherlands and been a visiting research fellow at Peter Allard Hall School in Canada.
