Thera Dieleman (M.M.T.B.)
Professional career history
Thera Dieleman (1988) has grown up in Germany and has studied at Leiden University and Utrecht University. In 2009, she obtained a Bachelor degree in Economics from Utrecht University, as well as a first-year degree in Law (propadeutic). In 2013, she graduated from Leiden University, having completed the Masters Civil Law and Philosophy of Law. For her Master thesis in Civil Law she has conducted empirical research on the use of arbitration and mediation within a firm during a thesis internship.
During her studies, she was a student-assistant in the library of the Supreme Court of the Netherlands in The Hague. She was also a student tutor of a group first year students (2011) and she participated in the Willem C. Vis Arbritation Moot Court in the academic year of 2012-2013. They received an honorable mention for their claimant memorandum.
Thera has started as a lecturer in Private Law at Maastricht University in April 2014.
